How do airless pumps work?

All of our packaging is strawless and uses airless pump technology. When you press down on the pump, it creates a vacuum effect that raises a platform in the bottom of the bottle and pushes out the product. We strongly recommend that you do not open the bottle, as that will let air into the packaging and unfortunately will cause the pump to no longer work.
If you have any issues with the pump not working, here is how to resolve the issue:
1. Do not open the bottle - this will allow air in
2. Holding the bottle upright, tap on the bottom of the bottle and then pump to remove any air bubbles.
3. When beginning a new bottle, it typically takes 10-20 pumps for the product to dispense. In some cases it can be more.
